Acuity Marketing Research is a fast-growing market research firm with a global presence. Our Project Manager's primary goal is, ultimately, to provide clients with seamless logistics throughout the research process and provide valuable insights that drive business decisions. The Project Manager position balances client interaction, project management, and data analysis. The role has tremendous potential for growth.


  • Manage the project life cycle of qualitative and quantitative market research projects -- both domestic and international -- from proposal to recruitment, fieldwork to final deliverables

  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the timelines, price, and value of core research functions (e.g., vendor management, honoraria, recruitment) and monitor project profitability by accounting for project-related expenses

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Acuity Provider Network (APN) (e.g., data sampling, programming, data processing, moderators, focus group facilities)

  • Collaborate with the research team to design screeners, surveys, and discussion guides to meet clients' business and research objectives

  • Coordinate logistics with research partners, anticipating and meeting the requests of both clients and the Acuity project team

  • Work with the research team to develop/write, proof/test programming (e.g., spelling, grammar, logic), monitor participation, analyze (e.g., code and summarize open-ends, verify data), and report (e.g., populate charts, proofread) quantitative research

  • Occasionally travel to meet with clients, manage in-person interviews, and attend industry trade shows


The work environment at Acuity is fast paced and collaborative. As part of a tight-knit team, the Project Manager must have initiative, enthusiasm, and a willingness to become involved in all aspects of the research process. The Project Manager should:

  • Have 2+ years of marketing research experience

  • Be exceptionally organized, have meticulous attention to detail, and work with tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Enjoy a mix of autonomy and teamwork

  • Have an unrelenting desire to learn and improve the research process

  • Be flexible, proactive, and solution-focused

  • Be respectful of others and their views

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and cloud-based software systems

  • Work remotely or in Acuity's Charleston, SC office
