Acuity Marketing Research is a fast-growing marketing research firm with a global presence. Acuity's primary goals are to provide clients with seamless logistics throughout the research process, ultimately providing valuable insights that drive business decisions. We are currently seeking an Account Executive, an integral team member who will help Acuity build and develop its growing sales and marketing pipeline. The role has tremendous potential for growth and a competitive compensation and benefits package.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by demonstrating in-depth institutional knowledge, understanding needs/priorities, and proposing custom market research solutions

  • Foster consultative relationships with prospective clients by introducing Acuity's capabilities with the goal of developing strong programs of research

  • Advise clients on creative and innovative market research approaches to help them meet their unique business and research objectives

  • Lead Acuity's sales efforts by diagnosing the needs of, and identifying relevant solutions for, existing and pipeline clients

  • Educate clients on the benefits of Acuity's business model and value proposition

  • Manage a sales pipeline and achieve quarterly, and annual revenue goals by engaging clients throughout the sales life cycle

  • Research, develop, and validate target and qualified lead lists

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the healthcare/pharmaceutical market research industry

  • Work collaboratively with the Acuity team to design programs of research and develop proposals for a wide range of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients

  • Oversee the analysis and delivery of insights to clients, making recommendations based on the business implications of the findings

  • 2+ years of account management, client development, and/or new business development in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing research

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable

  • Occasional travel for research projects, conferences, client meetings, and/or other events
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Work remotely or in Acuity's Charleston, SC office
